The Fargo GLSF4042A SureFit Automatic Tension Splice is a full-tension automatic connector designed for splicing #4 through #2 ACSR, AAAC, and AAC conductors. It accommodates conductor diameters from 0.220″ to 0.320″ and provides a minimum holding strength of 95% of the conductor’s rated breaking strength. The SureFit design uses deploying funnel guides and internal aluminum-alloy jaws to help prevent partial insertion and provide a secure, reliable connection. It is factory inhibitor-protected and meets ANSI C119.4 Class A requirements. 24.
