Description
The Burndy YE25R25 HYPLUG Compression Pin Adapter is a tin-plated aluminum compression terminal designed for terminating 1/0 AWG aluminum and 1/0 ACSR conductors at cutouts, transformers, arresters, and other compatible utility equipment. The connector features a tin-plated copper pin for reliable equipment connections and is pre-filled with PENETROX™ A-13 joint compound to help protect the connection against oxidation. Its yellow color coding identifies the conductor size, while the pin can be bent to the desired angle for easier equipment insertion. The YE25R25 is compatible with BG, 5/8-1, 243, and 8A die indexes and requires 8A overlap crimps as specified for installation.
