The Burndy YSU2R2W LINKIT™ Compression Splice is a 2-inch, uninsulated aluminum service-entrance compression connector designed for connecting #1–#2 stranded aluminum/copper conductors or #2 ACSR to #3–#4 stranded aluminum/copper conductors, #2 solid, or #4 ACSR. The connector features a heavy-wall aluminum body, hot-dipped tin plating, factory-filled oxide inhibitor, and a solid center stop. Red and orange color coding identifies the two conductor ends. It is designed for reliable aluminum-to-aluminum, aluminum-to-copper, and ACSR connections in overhead electrical distribution applications. 40.
