Description
The BURNDY YDS28RL UNISPLICE™ is a single-sleeve aluminum compression splice designed for full-tension splicing of 4/0 AWG conductors. It accommodates 4/0 ACSR Penguin, 4/0 aluminum stranded, 4/0 compressed ACSR, and 246.9 kcmil AAAC 6201/5005 conductors. The single-sleeve design eliminates the need for a separate steel inner sleeve when splicing ACSR. It is factory-filled with PENETROX™ joint compound and capped, helping prevent oxidation and simplifying installation.
