Description
The Burndy YE2R25 HYPLUG Compression Pin Adapter is an aluminum compression pin terminal designed for terminating #1–#2 stranded aluminum and #2 ACSR conductors at cutouts, transformers, arresters, and other compatible utility equipment. It features an aluminum body with a tin-plated copper pin for a reliable electrical connection. The pin can be bent to the desired angle for easier equipment insertion, while the terminal is pre-filled with PENETROX™ A-13 joint compound and sealed with a color-coded cap to help protect the connection from oxidation and contamination. The YE2R25 uses BG, 5/8-1, 243, or 8A die indexes.
