Description
The MacLean 5042 Universal Strandlink is an automatic tension splice connector designed for splicing 3/8-inch overhead and down guy wire. The Universal Series is suitable for Alumoweld, extra-high-strength (EHS), aluminized, and galvanized steel strand. It is rated to hold a minimum of 90% of the rated breaking strength (RBS) of approved strand and provides a reliable, high-strength connection for utility and communications applications. The 5042 accommodates strand diameters from 0.325″ to 0.392″ and measures 10.62″ long × 1.45″ wide. The standard package quantity is 25 pieces.
