The MacLean Power Systems 7652AP Automatic Tension Splice is a range-taking, full-tension connector designed for splicing #2 and #4 ACSR, AAAC, and AAC conductors. It is rated to hold a minimum of 95% of the conductor’s rated breaking strength (RBS) and meets ANSI C119.4 Full Tension Class A requirements. The splice features die-cast aluminum jaws, an aluminum-alloy tube, factory-installed inhibitor, and red/orange color-coded strand guides for easy conductor identification. Its automatic design provides fast, reliable field installation without compression tooling. The 7652AP is also RUS approved. 22.
