The MacLean Power Systems (MPS) 7659 Automatic Full-Tension Splice is engineered for permanent overhead conductor connections in utility transmission and distribution systems. Designed for 397.5 & 477 AAAC, 397.5, 477 & 556.5 AAC, and 397.5-18/1 & 477-18/1 ACSR conductors, it features durable aluminum alloy construction and meets ANSI C119.4 Full Tension Class A requirements. Rated to hold a minimum of 95% of the conductor’s Rated Breaking Strength (RBS) with a maximum tension rating of 12,500 lbs for 556.5 AAC, it provides dependable long-term performance.
