Description
The MacLean Power Systems (MPS) Type XS Fuse Cutout is an outdoor, pole-top distribution fuse cutout designed to provide full-fault-spectrum protection for overhead electrical distribution systems. Type XS units are available for systems from approximately 4.16 kV through 25 kV, with various continuous-current and interrupting-current ratings. The design uses single venting directed down and away, helping keep exhaust away from adjacent phases. The fuse tube is designed for easy insertion, closing, opening, and removal during field operation.
