The 3M AL9CU Compression Splice is a high-performance connector designed for permanent splicing of #2 AWG stranded and #1–1/0 AWG solid aluminum or copper conductors. Dual-rated for AL/CU applications, it provides excellent conductivity and long-term reliability in overhead and underground distribution systems.
Manufactured from high-conductivity aluminum and electro-tin plated for corrosion resistance, this splice is prefilled with oxide inhibitor to ensure optimal electrical performance. Its compression design creates a strong, vibration-resistant connection, while compatibility with BG die systems allows for consistent and efficient installation using standard compression tools.
