The Burndy YDS4RL UNISPLICE Compression Splice is a single-sleeve, full-tension aluminum connector designed for permanent splicing of #4 AWG ACSR, AAC, and AAAC conductors in overhead distribution systems.
This splice eliminates the need for a separate steel sleeve while delivering full mechanical strength and excellent electrical conductivity. It comes prefilled with PENETROX™ oxide inhibitor and capped, ensuring corrosion resistance and long-term reliability.
Its long-barrel design provides a secure, vibration-resistant connection and installs using standard compression tools with multiple die options, making it ideal for demanding utility applications.
