The HOMAC SNG02 Compression Splice is a semi-tension aluminum connector designed for splicing 1/0 AWG ACSR and stranded aluminum conductors in overhead distribution systems. Engineered for durability and performance, it provides a strong electrical connection while allowing for efficient field installation.
Manufactured from high-conductivity aluminum and prefilled with oxide inhibitor, the SNG02 ensures excellent corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. Its solid center stop allows for proper conductor insertion, while clearly marked die codes and crimp locations ensure consistent and accurate compression.
Designed for neutral and non-full-tension applications, this splice provides approximately 40% of the conductor’s rated strength, making it ideal for distribution line work.
