The HOMAC X1U4040 Compression Splice is a heavy-duty aluminum connector designed for secure and permanent splicing of 4/0 AWG ACSR and stranded aluminum conductors in overhead service entrance and distribution systems.
Engineered for high conductivity and durability, this splice features solid center barriers that ensure proper conductor positioning and even distribution of oxide inhibitor. It comes prefilled with inhibitor compound to prevent corrosion and maintain long-term electrical performance.
Designed for utility-grade applications, the X1U4040 is compatible with multiple die systems—including 840, TX, 76, 249, and 11A—allowing flexible and reliable installation using standard compression tools.
