The HOMAC SNG22 Compression Splice is a semi-tension aluminum connector designed for splicing #2 AWG ACSR and stranded aluminum conductors in overhead distribution systems. Built for reliability, it provides a strong electrical connection while allowing controlled mechanical strength for neutral and non-full-tension applications.
Manufactured from high-conductivity aluminum and prefilled with oxide inhibitor, the SNG22 ensures excellent corrosion resistance and long-term performance. Its solid center stop allows for proper conductor positioning, and clearly marked die codes enable accurate and consistent compression using standard tools.
Designed to achieve approximately 40% of the conductor’s rated strength, this splice is ideal for neutral lines and secondary distribution systems.
