The HOMAC SNG22 Compression Splice is a semi-tension aluminum connector designed for splicing #2 AWG ACSR and stranded aluminum conductors in overhead distribution systems. Engineered for reliability, it provides a strong mechanical and electrical connection while maintaining ease of installation in the field.
Constructed from high-conductivity aluminum and prefilled with oxide inhibitor, the SNG22 ensures excellent corrosion resistance and long-term performance. Its solid center stop simplifies conductor insertion, while clearly marked die codes and crimp locations allow for accurate and consistent installation using standard compression tools.
Designed to achieve approximately 40% of the conductor’s rated strength, this splice is ideal for neutral and non-full-tension applications.
